Jonathan Fleming, from New York City, was wrongfully convicted in a racially motivated conviction and spent 24 years in prison. He was convicted during the same time frame as the central park 5, a popular case made famous by the Netflix series - "When they see us".
Mr. Fleming was vacationing in Florida with his family when a murder occurred in NYC. Mr. Fleming, unawares, was arrested when he arrived back in NYC and convicted of the murder. 24 years later, through extraordinary events, his family was able to afford a lawyer in order to appeal the case, much-like the central park 5. He was released in 2014, acquitted of all charges stating that he was wrongfully convicted. He has since written a book about his life and trials called "24/7 Wrongfully Convicted, Rightfully Released". You can find a link to his book below.
Mr. Fleming has since invested in Dr. Massage and had begun a journey of entrepreneurship in his life given back. We work together to bring help to the world through health and wellness and donate to Jonathan Fleming Foundation that focuses on helping exonerees and those wrongfully convicted.
